Superformance with hardtop for sale in NY State
I have my SPF #887 (regretfully) up for sale at a very fair price of $39,500 for a limited time (through 5/8/06). It is legally titled and registered in NY State as a 2005 "custom" vehicle, and I have owned it since new.
We are in the middle of purchasing a new home, and I am looking for a little "cushion" in the bank as we finish the purchase process. If the car does not sell before then, it stays.
The car is Royal Blue/White stripes and has a Ford Motorsports crate 351/385hp and 5 speed. Just a little over 20k miles on it. Includes factory hardtop and many extras. I am the only owner (have driven it for 4+ years).

Just got a commitment to help "cushion" our move to the country, so SPF887 stays... It is no longer for sale.

Yes, I am very glad that SPF887 is staying in the family. Had a buyer with a deposit on her, and it looked like she was gone soon. Fortunately (for me), the buyer had to back out of the deal. That was all it took.... I was at Stonebridge, talking to Don about another prospective buyer, and by the time we were done talking I said "she's not for sale any more"!!! I am thankful that things came together in time.
I had planned on replacing it possibly late this summer. I'm just facing a short term crunch buying a new house before I sell our old house... Thankfully, some other things came together, that will help take off the pressure during the move.
SPF887 is a special car for me - it is the first SPF that Tom & Don brought in to their dealership.... the guys at Stonebridge are good friends, and I wanted to keep it in the "family".

Dave,
Thanks for the interest in my SPF. Decided to keep it and tough it out $$$ as we change houses.... (right now I have 2!!!). Should close on the sale of our old house next week, then the crunch should be over.
Hope you find your Cobra!!!
BTW, if you are near the Breesport/Elmira area, and want to see SPF887 to find out what they are all about, let me know.

Thanks for the offer but that would be a great tease.........look but do not touch. I would love to buy the car this weekend and have cash. I sold my last Unique Cobra 2 years ago and would now like to purchase a SPF or ERA car. If you see any nice cars that are priced around 40k, please have them call me
