John.

The car is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! :3DSMILE: :3DSMILE:

Now if only my 2005 Mustang GT would sell it would be even more gorgeous in my garage!;)

Hey Terry...sell that thang!

Spring is just around the corner...interest in the FIA has picked up quite a bit in the past couple of weeks.

Its been rough trying to accommodate all parties due to health issues in my family these past few weeks. My apologies. On top of that we found out our oldest Rottie has bone cancer and we're going to try and save her by going for surgery.

When it rains...it pours.

John,

I'm trying...oh how I am trying!:JEKYLHYDE

It seems like everytime I get a prospective buyer they just can't get it together!

I can certainly empathize with your family health problems as you well know!

Sorry to hear about your older Rottie...my best friend here just had to put his Shepherd down last week...after 12 years. They are members of the family and it really hurts to lose them!

Yes it always seems to pour...especially as we get older!:(

John:

I still have interest in the FIA car. I still would be willing to trade my Red 1990 Saleen Convertible with 19K towards the car.

I am VERY sorry to hear about the Rottweiler. I had to put my 12 year dog Sam down because of cancer in Nov. 2004. I still haven't gotten over it. A tumor on his spine was the final blow and I miss him every day. I hope the surgery is a success....

Hi Jerry,

Sorry not looking for any trades at this point, just cash.

Yup, our Rottie went in this morning for an amputation. She (Heidi) is dear to us and is a Therapy Dog with the St Huberts and the Delta Societies. She has visited nursing homes and was involved jn a reading program with kids. She has given so much back to us that this is the least we can try to do to make her live a long happy life albeit without a leg.

I have seen John's car and it is very nicely detailed. John choose components and finishes that give his car a very authentic 1960's race car look. The engine is also well spec'd for a '60s small block replica. Wheels are very impress PS Engineering. An example of the detail is the safety wired spinners on the wheels.

Thanks for the compliments. Curt Scott said my pictures violated every rule of photography and they do...but it was about 15 degrees at Sandy Hook that day and I am still defrosting!

Terry...it can be yours...you just have to sell that Mustang!

John McMahon 03-30-2006 10:16 AM

I took a deposit today, the car is currently under contract.

Thanks for everyone's interest and all the compliments.
