12.25/1 CR? What kind of pump gas? Better keep the revs down. We only have a few stations here that have 100 octane or even 93 octane. Good looking car though.

This looks suspiciously identical to CSX4236 that just sold for $78000.
 Also 600 miles, also built by HRE, both in Scarsdale, NY... Mmmm.there's got to be a story here.

John McMahon 08-10-2006 05:48 AM

No, there is no story there!

The car is owned by a buddy of mine that has no time for it anymore. He has a number of vintage Mustangs that he runs in HSR and travels quite a bit.

No story, no suspicion, no "Murder She Wrote" crap.

A clean car at a good price.

Power Surge 08-10-2006 07:36 AM

Nice car for sure, and of course, the next build number after mine. It's got all the same features such as the rolled lips, custom spats, door pockets and such. There are definitely details on this car that set it apart from others. And over my car, it's got a fuel cell, the aluminum trunk kit, and of course the nice side oiler in it. Definitely worth 93k in my book.

Not to hijack the thread John, but would you happen to have some inside trunk shots?

John McMahon 08-10-2006 08:13 AM

Sal,

Sorry, those are the only pics I could find. I just called Peter, he's going to get me some additional pics today. He said the trunk is carpeted.

He is also checking on the compression of the moder, I think this was a typo, he believes the moder is 10.5:1...I will follow up

Its a beautiful car, spot on, he just doesn't drive it anymore.

We used to OT together, but he has gotten WAY serious in the vintage series with his GT350, so I barely see him anymore.

Gee John I thought maybe you were getting too old for this kinda thing... ya know - selling your car, moving south...

Just a quick clip from the wings.

Nice car!

Nice car!

I've had better clips from old dead women.

Hopefully I'll be south in a year.

Hmmm, never tried a old dead woman... but to each his own :-D

I was thinking about moving south until this trend of storms flared. Now I'm glad I didn't! We don't have it made here with the snow - but at least we don't loose our homes to snow and wind! I might be talked into the Carolina's though. Spent quite a bit of time there in the past few years. Nice part of the country.

John McMahon 08-10-2006 11:30 AM

That is where I am thinking too!

John, Dave, after all this time you guys are still sick!

DaveSemko 08-11-2006 07:02 AM

John, we must have another newbie on our hands. Hasn't experienced the benefits of the 'walker' yet... sheesh, you'd think they would have some minimal requirements around here eh? :-D

John McMahon 08-20-2006 05:13 AM

this very clean, low miles CSX4000 is still available and ready for immediate delivery.

John McMahon 10-12-2006 12:41 PM

TTT...I'm helping out another friend here, this very clean Shelby is still available at a reasonable price.

The lucky buyer will get a dream date in knee pads with Eva Longoria.

REAL 1 10-16-2006 02:11 PM

Hmmm... Now $93K is a "reasonable price" for a glass CSX????

I seem to remember many a conversation where you didn't exactly think glass CSXs were worth near $100K are argued they were overpriced.

Not a bad price for a nice car. In the end, I'd buy a CSX cause in the future the odds are they will appreciate.

REAL 1 10-17-2006 08:36 AM

Well, at least your honest about your duplicity.

Bernica 10-25-2006 08:58 PM

Still available?
If so, what is current asking $$$ ?
Can it be seen and driven?

Thanks.

John McMahon 10-26-2006 04:37 AM

Michael,

The car is still available as far as I know, its perfect and ready to drive. Car is located in NY.

I am not sure of what the current price is, I think there is some wiggle room though. If you contact Peter (the owner) at the number listed I am sure he can set something up with you.

Feel free to PM me with any questions, I'll try and call Peter later this morning and get an update and post here.
