Forte`s

The worst company i never dealt with. 7 months ago, I ordered 2 sets of brackets for an irs cobra brake setup from them. Got the brackets but they ended up being the wrong ones. I sent the brackets back to them as they were supposed to replace them with the right ones. Since then, nothing! I have been waiting for over 7 months for the parts (which have been paid for in total ). Can`t seem to be able to reach them as I have been trying to contact them many times and still no answers. I just hope that this tread will wake those guys up a bit and that I will finaly get my parts which have been paid for a long time ago!

I've dealt with them in the past and they were great. Mike found what I needed and it worked out very well.

I can't say anything bad either. I have had excellent service from them and they make a lot of specialty parts that nobody else does. How have you tried contacting them?

Three Peaks 10-18-2006 11:37 AM

Funny,
You posted this complaint on ffcobra.com and got the same reponse as the 2 posts above? So you come over here to complain?
Are you sure you have tried to phone them? I've had great luck with Mike with the things I've ordered from him. He has bent over backwards, even on weekends, to take care of his customers.
If you have been emailing him you aren't going to be real successful as he gets hundreds of spam emails a day like a lot of internet businesses. Call him at his number posted at ffcobra.com and I'm betting you will get taken care or ASAP.

From the other forum...

Mike Forte has freely posted his cell phone number on many occasions, so your claim that you can't reach him is pure bull. We also have a procedure we like to follow here where we don't bash reputable forum vendors unless WE TALK TO THEM FIRST! So go to his website, look at his phone number and CALL HIM.

Thread locked until somebody PMs me that Mike's been called.

I have also looked back on all 17 of your posts, and what I'm seeing is 16 attempts to sell your cars and parts, and one out-of-line complaint. If you want to sell your stuff here, pay for an ad, just like Mike Forte does. Otherwise, your next attempt at selling will result in your being banned permanaently.

Mike

Mikiec.
If You Know So Well What You Are Talking About Why Dont You Give Me The Cell Number Of Mike Forte And Maybe I Will Receive My Parts!
Thanks,

Hold on now guys,
I have talked directly to Don about this. He has tried many times using both email and the phone number and he even left messages. Forte has yet to reply. When we ordered our last set of brake calipers from Forte it took over 4 weeks to get them. They never returned our calls either and when I finally got mad, we got our parts. Sure Don is upset, I was too. He got the shaft on ffcobra.com when they shut down the thread before he could reply. Seemed bias seeing that other members have complianed about other suppliers and were not treated the same way. We advertise over there and I would expect our manufacturer treat with some respect. If someone has contact with Forte or can post his cell number than do so, but don't bash a member until you have all the facts. This would have solved the issue earlier.

I was the one that complained about you at FFR.com. What I think is sad is that you think the post was necessary. Next time why not ask for some help contacting Mike. I support the decision to not give you a chance to respond.

I see that Turn Ten Racing has stepped in. If you are representing Turn Ten you should make that clear. You might also want to look at your level of professionalism. In your post, you give the impression that you are a mistreated consumer as opposed to one business that is not happy with the parts lead times of anothe business. Anyone with the slightest level of class or ethics would keep business to business problems out of the forums. If you are not representing Turn Ten then you are just another troll looking for some free advertising.

Go ahead and search the forums and see if you can find an example of class acts like Kirkham or FFR attacking someone because they can't reach them.

1. You should take your business to business problems elsewhere.
2. Don violated forum rules and was treated as he should have been.
3. Since you are the only vendor I have seen slamming another, how can you claim bias.
4. You claim to want respect. The behavior of you and your rep has ensured that you will never have mine.

You and Don should step back and look at what you are doing. Then give the needed apologies.

Mike
