STP products (Synthetic Motor Oil)
I live in Indonesia where what you buy isn't always what is advertised.  This past week, one of the usually reliable department stores (similar in concept to WalMart) had STP Tropical Blend Synthetic Motor Oil on sale. API service SL/CF SAE 10W-40. It has been for sale at this store for several years at about $4.50 a quart but was on sale for a tad under $ 3.00 a quart. They had limited quantity left so I picked up 18 quarts. When I got home, I tried to look it up on-line but no where anywhere can I find this product including the STP and AmorAll sites. Has anyone ever heard of STP SMO or did I get taken for a ride? The plastic container is even embossed with the STP logo.
