I use cheap ear plugs with 27 dba reduction when cruisng available at Walmart. Also Tubular Automotive in Conn. can do anything you want with that exhaust system.

Bruce, you said that your pipes are 3" at the collector, what size are the pipes from there to the mufflers and from the mufflers to the rear? Do they go through the supports for the outriggers or under them? Any clearance problems. Can you post some photos? Thanks Michael

Honestly, I don't know, I'm the 3rd owner... all I know is that it was built as an under car exhaust model, and they're ceramic coated... so they are not an example of a side exhaust headers that have been adapted for undercar. I can see if I have pics that shows what they look like... check back in the am.

I knew my old car would eventually turn up! I'm the original owner and I bought it from John Karelius at Specialty Cobra in Palm Springs. It was a great driver but I had to let it go when the FIA came. Check the photos where the car is on the lawn.
The headers were custom made by MAECO Motorsports in Northridge, CA.
