That is one sweet looking Contemporary, makes me really wish I had never sold mine.

I wonder why the license plate fits differently than most? Looks like it's higher than mine.. or the trunk latch is lower.

One of the finest replicas I've EVER seen in person or pictures was a Contemporary here in Hawaii. The attention to detail was like you only see in the 'old school' replicas (like you might see in an older Hi Tech) or the new really high dollar ones (Kirkham, Shelby).

Of course it sported Webers. UNDER the hood in the firewall: Tach (chrome surround), remote start and fuel pressure gauge. Flawless with special little touches throughout and an on board fire system. If you saw in daylight, you needed sun glasses for the chrome.

Dan:
Mine is exactly the same. You have to reach under the bumper to turn the trunk latch. Mine was an '89 build.

I"m not sure what's up with mine. I had to make a cutout in the bottom of the plate to make it fit. This one seems to fit fine.

$46K? Sounds too good to be true. Great sounding car, even with a Richmond Gear 4+1 transmission, very tall rear end gears [I'll bet that clutch is well worn] and chrome springs. Rich

Yes its true, the Cobra looked very original and had a std bore 1965 427FE... The saddest part is that a midstates cobra went for more and it didnt even have doors on it. I think it says something about the quality /knowledge of the buyers there. It was a beautiful Car but not built to be near original... here is link to midstates that went for $48k.

A Factory Five Daytona Coupe went in the 30's to which was surprising.

Question

Does anyone know when or if those two original 427 Cobras are going across the plate?
