Congrats! Will be fun to watch the build and I'd go with the big stroker 351 ie; 427. Had one of Keith Crafts in a past Superformance dyno at 638HP and it was awesome and was like a baby on the street cruisin.

Does Lesher still build the Coupes? Called Lesher Motorsports, but only got answering service, have not heard back from them.

I thought he only sold one. I have talked with Ryan about building his suspension for them.

If you are serious about an absolute state of the art Coupe, give Larry Goins a call at 918-314-6363 he has just finished Mat Twiehaus' JBL Competition Coupe and it is fantastic. He has already started on my Street Coupe (which is honestly not much of a step down) and Larry should have all the fiberglass and Chassis work finished in the next couple weeks. Then you can follow my build for a brutally honest and step by step process of building a coupe. I chose to go with the Coyote Engine and a T56 transmission which are not vintage as you know. I wanted this coupe to be something anyone could do regardless of their automotive skills.

B&D fyi next year is the 50th anniversary of the Daytona Coupe and the London Cobra Show in concert with Ford will be spotlighting the Coupe and all coupes are encouraged to attend along with the HUNDEDS of Cobra's, next years London Cobra Show June 21, 2014. I hope to be there and it would be good to see a variety of Coupes attend (FFR, KIRKHAM, SPF, SHELL VALLEY, JBL, LESHER, etc.).

I still have quite a bit of work to do but I believe I can make it if Gods willing and the creek doesn't rise :). Keep us posted on your progress with pictures and narrative of what you are working on. Good Luck!!!
