Default Buying a FACTORY FIVE Coupe

So I asked my buddy Eric who owns WEST COAST EXOTICS to find me a series 3 FF Coupe all built.

Seems to be no way this will be an investment so I’ll just buy a cheap one for fun

LMK any tips I need to look at

Thanks

I would buy a gen 3 as it’s overall a better design, inside and out.

The current coupe is significantly improved over the previous version. It's also fairly new.

Finding one for sale will take a while. Not a whole lot of them in existence yet.

The new ones will be significantly more expensive than previous models. Partly because they're new. And partly because they cost a little more to build.

If your goal is cheap fun, I would suggest looking for the previous version.

A Gen 3 FFR Coupe, will not be "Cheap" as you say, unless any thing around 100k is "Chump Change" . If you do find one that's cheap, you will get what you pay for.Fixing all the things that were wrong in the first place, and will spend the same amount (Time & Money wise) as a well built one in the end. FYI, I would watch what you say about FFR being Cheap cars here, there's a lot FFR owners that will disagree with you, we have club member's FFR's that are as well built as any other car built, all come's down to the sum of the part's. Cheers TommyRot.

Tom,

Which generation FFR Coupe does the woman who you know race? I think her name is Dawn from what I recall. That seems to be a nice car.

Morning Jim, her name is Karen Salvaggio. She's a hellva shoe, and a real Sweetheart We spoke with her, a couple month's ago, as Allen (You know who ) would have been driving a coupe this year too. We're still hoping the 4th of July race come's off this year, the 3 of us are suppose to meet up there, maybe get Allen a few lap's in her car, I believe he has driven one or two before If I'm not mistaken she has the newest Gen 4? FFR Coupe, with the new IRS. I'm looking forward to taking a few laps in the newest Gen, to see the difference, from her old car. Cheers Tom.

Somebody needs to have a talk with Karen. There are SOME people in this world that should NEVER be allowed on a track. Not naming names but TommyRot are his initials.

Although this is an early car, the build appears to be top notch and @ 20k miles should be fully sorted out.

Now Karlos, there's no need to get Karen any more info. then she already has It's still a kick driving a pushrod V-8 that has enough power to spin the tires in 3rd gear up the hill between turn 6 and 7 The ol'Alfa you had spin up to 7800-8000rpm in that "High Strung 4cyl". to do that. Beside Karen dropped another 3/10th of a second after trying my line though 3A and 3B, so I'm still worth something. And that's Mr. Rot to you
