I had to get out my magnifying glass to read the lettering on the door, from another pic I have, also poor resolution.

OH NO!! It says 427 on the door!! How bogus is THAT!
Ok, clearly we will need another 'moment in time'.

I totally agree with over restoration, more perfect than it left the factory, puhlease... It IS a thrill seeing the Coupe as it was 'back in the day', even with the false lettering and gnarly exhaust, it's a documented survivor with a rich and fascinating history!
