Gregg,
B&B does have an IRS version of the Daytona Coupe but I opted for the live axel. Just a personal preferance. Clois |
it doesn not make a big difference for a track car? (based on what we see here on lotus seven replica)

Ludo,
Send Bryan Anderson with B&B an email and tell him you're interested in the Coupe and find out what kind of a deal he can make you. I think you will be pleasantly supprised. Here is a shot from my gallery of the frame (more details are available in other photo's) Bbmfg@jscomm.nethttp://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...NB_Coupe61.jpg |

Lesher Motorsports
Well I finally got a hold of Ryan from Lesher motorsports. Actually Ryan called me and we had a pretty discussion about what the offer and what you can get with there coupe. SO yes they are in business and they can build a coupe to order.

However if your starting from scratch & $$$ are an issue then a well setup 9" 3 bar plus watts link will return good results. Really comes down to personal preference. Dont know what availibility of Toyota/Nissan stuff is like in France, but Nissan 300zx or Toyota Supra from around the mid 90's have real strong IRS rear ends with Torsen type Limited Slip & ratios in the 3.7 range. Very strong-230mm(9") ring gear, big vented brakes, hub carriers, large CV joints, both Ford Stud pattern @ 4.5" x 5----everything you need if you wish to fabricate your own IRS setup. |
