But feel free to educate me. Please explain to me, like I'm a 7 year old, how or why that ^ is racist?

In any case, if it offended you, then you have my apologies and sympathies.

Ummm... Nope!
Another sensationalised bit of journalism from a tabloid paper?
Try again please. Happy to be enlightened.

Try a definition...
Then perhaps look for any claims of superiority, or oppression of one race against another.

As far as I can tell, cross cultural humour? Yes
Poor taste? Maybe. Matter of opinion. Yes?
Racism? Not even close.

If the car is back at the dealership curious as to why this guy needed to ride in such a high profile car. Maybe he just wanted to get behind the wheel to see if he might want to buy one and had no people skills.

You may disagree, but "claims of superiority, or oppression of one race against another" is not necessary for racism or racial discrimination. Reinforcement of cultural or ethnic stereotypes (e.g. cross cultural humour) constitutes racial discrimination, not only in my book but also that of others.

It would appear you and I have differing personal thresholds for that which constitutes racism or racial discrimination.

Have a great day, eh.

I spoke with the dealer yesterday asking "what make the True Replica was". The rep said the car was "a Roush Car". So I can only imagine it was a Superformance that Roush put a motor in and sold to the dealer as a Roush project car.

Or, once behind the wheel maybe realized what a handful they can be and asked himself "What the hell was I thinking!"

This may be an urban legend, but in the early 1970s, an original 427 Cobra was said to have been jacked in the New York area in a similar manner.

In case anyone was wondering how this story turned out, the cops arrested the thief -- a serial carjacker named Kevin Jay Rellah -- back in mid June: Police: Shelby Cobra carjacker caught | News - Home

Apparently there was a second man arrested in connection with the Cobra carjacking, James Francis Madden.

And Rellah has quite a history of car thefts, dating back decades.

Oh, and the Cobra is back in Bozard Ford's inventory, ready for the next test drive by a prospective buyer. ;-)
