Hello Fellas ....... I’m very new to the classic car thing but recently purchased a 1965 Cobra replica (302 engine) and wanted to know if anyone knew a good mechanic or specialist who could help me with a great fuel injection system and maybe some brakes.... few odds and ends. What do you think about power steering ...... any suggestions for someone with that?

Save your money. Stay with carbs. It's a man's car no power steering and no power brakes.

Unless you are running super wide tires the power steering really shouldn't be needed. It will steer easily except maybe when you are barely moving such as turning to get into your garage and such. The power brakes I don't think are needed if you have good ones. As for the fuel injection you will have to talk to some of the local people and find out where there is a good shop for that. And congratulations on your Cobra.

Hi guys. New Englander here headed South next week to play with the grandkids. I'll be in Carrollton GA from Thursday the 31st of May until Sunday the 3rd of June. If anyone is in the area and would like to show me the good cruising roads I'd love to meet you. Looking forward to your nice smooth roads down there and no pollen! LOL Let me know if you can come out and play. Thanks

You must be kidding about the pollen....since moving to E.Tennessee from Texas I'm beginning to think the south is where pollen allergy research should be done. It's Pine and Cedar pollen right now, just a FYI.

Here in the South everything that grows produces pollen. Some days I think the rock are spitting out pollen.
