Security?
Dan, how far is the Casa Loma Motel from your house? Would you feel
comfortable parking a Cobra there overnight? If not, can I park my sled at your place and bum a ride to and from the motel? Thanks for your input and advice! |
You need to update my vehicle.:) Oh wait, not just yet, give it a couple of weeks....
|
Joe,
The Motel is on the main north - south corridor of the Cape and maybe 8 miles from my house. I wouldn't worry about my car at my house or the Motel but will give you a ride or what ever is needed. I have 135 foot of frontage at my house and we can line up the Cobras there. If you guys want to come in on Friday night we can run up to Bubba's Steak house for dinner. Jim I also up dated your new ride, I hope we can all see it before your next purchase. Your next build should be a copy of Jasons FFR ride, with about 800 RWHP. Dan |
WTF I keep getting a fax signal with that phone number you posted for the motel.
|
Stop looking, I found it.:D

Sorry Jim, your right that's their fax number. I've changed to the correct phone number. Check out this link and get the info without my help. Dan |
Hi Dan, I'm in!!!!! just got the O.K.
See you there. |
OK...
Dan... I was going to drive doen and photograph every inch of every FFR car and when the spouse heard about it and it is now a family event! For counting your looking at a group of 4 that will eat like 2.5 or less (steak wise!)... I'll be ariving with the ED Convoy... and will be available to run errands if needed... we now are 2 adults a 13YO and a 7YO... the daughter 7YO is in love with water at this time and that sold her... See you on SAT!!!! Rich |
Rich,
I'm going to try and make a family affair of all our events. I know most of the adults will not be in the pool but I'm sure we will have to pull the kids out. I'm having two large meat and cheese trays so I can BS with everyone while you make a sandwhich. I'm having a cake lettered with the Deep South Cobra Club. If we start to run out of food I will send you to the store for more. Bring your camera for pictures but there will be more than FFR cars to take pictures of. Everett Morrison, Excaliber, Backdraft Racing, SPF, ERA, Midstates, Street Beast, Unique, Mustang Cobra 2003, Cobra Shop, and my Elegant Motors, I'm sure I left someone out. I think we should have some very nice pictures. Maybe I can get you to take a picture of each member standing next to his car, I hope your camera is digital. Dan |
Cobra Bash
Cape Coral or Bahamas, decisions, decisions!
I have been plenning on this fishing trip to the Bahamas for the entire summer, but seas are alittle rough right now for crossing in my boat. Carol and I may just have to put off trip until next week. In that case, we may spin over to your area for the weekend, and meet all you Cobra gear heads. I won't get my SPF until Feb., but it is on order. I need to make an engine decision pretty soon. |
Terry,
You might find some fish in the Bahamas but no Cobras. Dan |
Cobra bash
Carol said it was agood idea for us to come over and meet you all before the final order for the engine. Are we still invited even if we don't have the Cobra yet. If so, count us in. We will more than happy to bring anything you need. I also mentioned this bash to a fellow named Mike Sebero. He has a new black SPF and lives in Plantation. Hope that was OK.
|
Terry,
Can you get a large poster size picture of a Cobra so we can paste it on your Honda? I need a picture of at least 10 Cobras parked in front of my house to get Jerry to pop for dinner. Actually if you have to fish I have a fresh water lake as my back yard that has large mouth bass. If you come we will have lots of engines to look at, even a couple of CHEVY's. We will even have a crew that pulls and replaces engines in Cobras in attendance. See you on Saturday. Dan |
There is a cruise-in at the Shell Factory this Saturday August 10th, I hope the weather is great and everyone that is staying over can make it there.............. It's less than 5 miles from my home.

Cobra Bash
More decisions!!!!
Do I drive over in the old '83 Ferrari or the '31 Model A street rod roadster pickup. Do they have trophies? Working on the pics of the Cobra. |
It's just a bunch of guys showing off their cars.
|
Bass in the lake...
Oh I can't forget my fishing gear. Who knows, I may get lucky! Car is loaded and we are ready to go! Tampa convoy departing at 7:15. Ed FFR1997K |
All Cobras should back in and onto my grass in front of my house, in a nice line, should make a great picture. All trailers should park across the street in the vacant lot and anyone coming in a non Cobra. If you can only come for a short time make sure you arrive for lunch 12-1pm. With everyone who has contacted me we should have a large turn out. As you arrive you will be given a sticker to write your name on, I hope we can all put some faces to our internet names. See everyone on Saturday.
