Spydee/Xcelguru--Atlanta Nov get together??
All you Georgia boys and gals have been awefully quiet lately. Where is everyone? I see excelguru is now more enamored with Kings, Queens, and pawns than with venturis, coil-over ride height, and paint methods. Is he arranging anything for a get together?
Maybe I should get Spyderman to host a party--then again he's been awefully quiet as well!! My recommendation would be to do track time at the next WorldCarz event at Road Atlanta which is the Sat/Sun after Turkey Day. |
I suggested on a previous thread about having a drive in at the Five seasons resturant and brew pub the 3rd Saturday. Five seasons is in the old fridays at the Prado shopping center where Frankies sports bar is just inside 285 on Roswell Rd. Anybody want to do that?
Saturday after Thanksgiving Im swapping the 427 for the 30 ought 6 so I can't make that. |
I'll try to make it to whatever you guys decide on... where's my calendar...? I won't take it on a track yet, but I'm game for any other sort of gathering. I remember the Five Seasons recommendation from last month and that sounds pretty good.

My car is in the hospital getting some new organs. Should be out and humming later today. Tomorrow will be a great day weather-wise. Anyone up for lunch? Probably won't be a lot of warm beautiful days left.

4 panteras: all local-one twin turbo. Itilian car club had 28: fm all over the south-biggest single model of cars reped.
Donuts this weekend: Go to "Pantera Place.com" for directions or email me at home"chipperb@webtv.net" Can't post on Club Cobra fm home. Meet at 8:30am. break up at 11:30. I might be able to get away tomorrow for lunch. The weather is supposed to be nice. I'll have to check and ensure I haven't forgotten about any prior engagements before I commit. I will be unable to attend a get together next weekend. Greg |
We have tickets to a play in Columbia on the weekend of the 16th which leaves me with two options: (a) go to the play with my wife or (b) tell my pregnant, hormone-crazed wife that we have to skip the play in order to attend a Cobra gathering in GA.

Ran into some problems today. The new flywheel showed up at the garage this morning, but the new King Cobra clutch assembly wouldn't bolt up. I swapped it out with a new bilet steel one. Now we're good to go, but I won't have it back until, hopefully early afternoon. Either way, I'm snakeless. Bummer. |
I'm game for just about any venue. Seeing as I either A, ride with Chip or B, drive my Exploder so I don't think I have a lot of say so where you guys should take your cobras! So I can show up wherever. A friend of mine is going to Road Atlanta next weekend for track day. He's running a viper. It might be fun to watch or run your cars? But like I said, I'm game for any venue.

Can anyone get together on the 23rd? That's the weekend before Thanksgiving. Or maybe that weekend has already been discussed? If the weather's nice, I wouldn't mind a trip to GA in The Car.

I suggested 5 Seasons for the 23rd. Its at the old Fridays location inside 285on Roswell road. I mentioned to the owners of the place that we might show up and they said they would even give us a private room if we want but if the weather is good sitting out side would be the nicest

Let me know--I'm in for either weekend, weather permitting. Also, if someone wants to hitch a ride with me, I'm probably a single, so let me know where to meet, and you are welcome to warm the passengers seat. Saturday's are best from my perspective, but either weekend day is a good chance---my wife generally works weekends, so the hall pass is available, and my son is away at school till T-day.
