Gainesville track date April 19, 2003

OK guys, here we go once again. I put down the deposit last Friday to reserve the track.
April 19, 2003.

The word is out on the Gainesville raceway and spots will fill up quickly.
We are only opening up 20 spots this time with two alternates.
We will have a stand-by list for anyone signing up after the first 20 deposits have been received. If we have anyone cancel the waiting list will apply.
Only if we have someone to fill your position will you have your deposit returned.

Every time we have been to Gainesville, the battle of attrition is lost by at least one driver.
Due to this unfortunate occurrence, we have drivers drop out of the test and tune session.
If this happens, the alternate drivers will have the opportunity to drive their cars in the open position. Depending on the time of day, the alternate driver can refund the other driver a portion of his track cost. We think this will ease the pain of the driver’s misfortune.

Alternate drivers will be responsible for helping us work the track until a position opens.

Remember to send in your check immediately for the April 19th date. We will only reserve your position once your check is received.
Please be sure to inspect your brake system as we will change the track layout for the next event.
The NHRA is concerned with the speeds at which we have been running and we may have to make the track more challenging and add in more chicanes.

This event is reserved for Cobra owners only.
If we still have positions open 3 weeks prior to the event we will open it up to all cars.
Yes, Jim and Lori Pomroy have an exemption....

Driver’s meeting is mandatory for all drivers and pit crew members.
Meeting to be held in the hotel lobby Friday night before the event.
We will be meeting in the hotel lobby Friday night at 6:15 to convoy to the restaurant.
The drivers meeting will be held at 9:00 pm in the hotel lobby.

Saturday evening we will also have dinner as a group.

There will be information packets at the front desk of the hotel.

Again, the driver’s meeting is a must for everyone who plans on attending the event.
Get your deposits in as soon as possible.
