DSCC Gathering in Tampa, March 13th
Cobra Bash, Tampa
March 13th. 3:30 pm - ? A poker type run thru twisty/hilly Dade City and surrounding area. Bar-b-que dinner to follow. I'll provide the bar-b-que, please bring a side dish or dessert. The route will be many of the back roads around Dade City.
I dont know all the names off hand. We look for twisty hilly roads to give the guys some fun. Most of the trip is the W and NW side of Dade City. It's not a "huge" gathering... Us local guys each take turns "hosting" a Cobra party for all the local members. It would be nice to have Dan make the trip from down south to celebrate his birthday. Funny that my wifes birthday is the same day.... This was supposed to be a "suprise" birthday party for her. It looks like I'll have to put two names on the cake. Hope you all can make it. Ed Ed |
Ed, right after I graduated Brandon High in '71, my parents dropped me off at USF and moved to Brooksville. Man, there were some awesome (and very hilly for Fla.) roads up that way. Take the temp up from 40s to 70s and I'm excited!

I was thinking of having a party near my home but this is even better I'll be there. I'm not sure about the wife yet, as she works every weekend. I'll let you know how many will be coming from the Deep South. Dan |
Ed, the only this to stop me are weather and having to leave the country. I'm going to make arrangements with my brother for room and board and plan on making it. I will be able to RSVP as the date gets closer. So far, I don't see a problem.

Carol and I will put it on our calender. It is really getting booked with the new house and all. I will even have to give up my spot for Gainesvville in March, we will be in Chicago that weekend, but we look forward to this event.

I could use directions from your route 75 exit to your home since it was almost 2 years ago I was at your home. Are you going to start the cruise from your home? I emailed Daisy but I think she only reads her email once a month, I could still bring a small cake as desert. The wife will be working so she will not be coming. Dan |

I know Engineer Ed mentioned that it was going to be a small gathering to go for a drive. It seems like all of the DSCC members are a close knit group which is really nice. Does anyone ever take a guest passenger for one of these cruises?

There will be 3 coming for sure and maybe 5 total coming from the Deep South. Of course it is so damn far north and so late in the afternoon we might have to stay over night in a motel. Of course your'e only 65 once. :LOL:
