Anyone interested in late spring Gainesville event?
OK, here are the dates that are open for Gainesville in spring and summer.
I need 20 deposits to secure the track. I will make all the arrangements but I cannot make any May dates do to my travel plans. June is also iffy due to the Willis races. In my adsence, Jim, Tom or Ruble will handle the event if I cannot attend. Here are the possible dates: May 15, 22 or 29 June 5, 12 August 7, 14 or 28 Once again, we need twenty deposits to make it a go. If the event is rained out, a rain date will be extended to us. If we utilize the track, even for a hour, the EMT cost will not be refunded. At least three days notice is required to cancel the EMT's to get a refund. Please reply and send me an e-mail so I can add you to the list. Please let me know what dates you are available. Ed |

I cannot afford to go to the Willis and Gainesville in the same month. August is hot but right now is the best option or maybe one of the May dates. |
Of those dates the August are the best for Kate and I. I think May 29 could be a possibility but I'll be travelling on the June dates.

I'm in for the 22nd...probably have two more from Orlando...Jim McGovern, who hopes to have the Cobra done by then or more than likely we'll see the brake burner again and a new guy Dave Gall (FHP) with a nice car. We will send money tomorrow.

How much $$ did you piss away before last event trying to upgrade your snake? I heard it was in the thousands? Ouch. Take a lesson from Jim and do yourself a favor.. It aint the car man, it's the driver! But, you want another beating huh? Man, you guys are gluttons for punishment! I just hate to see you guys cleaning out your bank accounts trying to beat me. Nothing has worked so far and the money you all spent has been outrageous. So much for your retirement funds.... Dont say I didn't warm you! Now I've got to get my engine fixed a few weeks early. The Hampton Inn called and told me the event was moved to May 29, and they could not accommodate us on that weekend. I understand from your April 12 post that the event is still on for the 22nd but the hotel is not certain. Before I cancel my May 22 reservations at the Hampton Inn, I need to know how firm the plan is and what it is. Thanks. |
