I'd like to thank everyone who had anything to do with putting this event together. We had a great time seeing old friends meeting new friends. All the pics are great. If Jim Pomroy is reading this my nose is getting better.

I had a great time at this! Met lots of new people and saw old friends from before.

I hope Jim’s oil pan was not too much of a pain.

I have to thank Jim Pomroy for the route to Sarasota, as someone described it “a spirited run!”

Also Wayne from Tangible Toys for the route to Ft Meyers.

Jim is already started on a six month vacation and has left his oil pan fix until his return in October, he is the only guy I know that thinks a problem is just part of the adventure.

Hey Steve, I'm still pulling skin off my forehead!!!!! Great run Even at GREAT SPEED at times!

CobraDan 05-01-2009 03:18 AM

When I started this post I said I counted 50 cobras 1 Shelby Tiger and 1 SPF GT40 in the lot Old Town held open for the Cobra participants, but there was one BDR supercharged cobra in the alley behind all the shops with all the other cars in attendance at Saturdays show. We had 3 local cobras show at the Ale House but that ended there tour there. A few other Cobras stopped by at many of the other gas break (I only stopped 3 times for GAS) or designated stops and if all were counted I’m sure we had 60 or more participate. Hell, I never counted the Solstice but I did keep it in the Comfort Inn lot.

Old Town Gathering on 4-25

Here’s a link to all the pics I took…I tried to get everyone’s car but I apologize if I didn’t get everyone in…probably because their car had a crowd around it.
