Well, they all like Cobras, they all like the idea of what "our" Family is doing and....they all want to help get Jenny's Cobra together!
If you missed it, McLeod Clutches, one of the finest driveline company's in the world insisted and I mean insisted that we use only the best for Jenny's FIA. Twist my arm! I know a lot of you guys use MCLeod "stuff" anyway, but now when you call up and order one of the best clutches on the market, tell them it's for a Cobra and that you know they donated to Jenny and the DVSF!
Just tell who ever you get to talk to, that because "Red" and McLeod were darn generous to help out with Jenny's Cobra you decided to buy from them! It works it really does! Heck you might even get a discount
Then, I never thought this would be possible, but I'm getting real good at throwing names around! I finally got through the bureaucracy and got to talk to "KIM MARCH" personally! I dropped names like,
KIRKHAM, FIA, DAVID KEE, AND OF COURSE McLEOD. I simply asked if
MARCH PULLEY'S would like to join in? Kim did hesitate, for about a minute!
We now have a full set of non-period correct MARCH PULLEYS coming for Jenny's motor!
And now for what I think is the most exciting news of all, at least for our event is that the largest "Oldies" radio station, WODB 107.9 has joined the real force and will be advertising to all of central Ohio, "The Cobras are coming to London!" They will be holding contests for their listeners to win some raffle tickets, broadcasting numerous times a day about the Fling, starting in about a week right up to and through the event. They will also be doing a live remote from the airport event AND may even go along with us on our final and spectacular parade!
DV...I think, I hope and I pray it just keeps getting better and better
