There is no new info on the Spring Fling..... The DV Spring Fling is being hosted by myself and the Lake Snakes Cobra Club, as per Ed Combs announcement. Any attempt by someone else to undermine this event, will be dealt with in the appropriate manner. A certain few last year, also had a hard time dealing with the fact that the event might not be held in Columbus, and gave Ed a bunch of grief over this. It looks like this group is rearing its ugly head, and attempting to STEAL something that is NOT theirs. Ed's original post, that was sent to me for approval, mentioned this group by name, but I edited it to leave out that names, because I didn't think it right. Now Frank and others, have chosen again, to interfer with the process of holding the Spring Fling and such interference will not be tolerated. Instead of working for the advancement of the Fling, they have chosen to work towards the disruption of the Fling.

I too am in complete agreement with Jack May "hotfingers" in regards to the spring fling. DV's original letter before posting, which I saw, mentioned names of individuals like you that tried to disrupt the fling last year when there was word that it might not be held in columbus due to the "Shooter". People like you do not support but try to tear down. I am on the OCC e-mail list and now wish to be taken off of it because of members like you and a few others that are trying to tear down and destroy something DV has built to the magnitude it is now. DV gave his blessings to Jack, because he knew that Jack and The LAKE SNAKES COBRA CLUB would carry on the DOUBLE VENOM SPRING FLING the way it was proposed...for family, with love and affection. Sorry, but YOU and your CO-HORTS are NOT the ones. SHAME ON YOU!

Gentlemen, I think it is bad form to air dirty laundry in public. It undermines the Fling, ED and everyone involved. I also think it was premature to say any thing in regards to this subject.
May I suggest we let this thread die as it should. Thanks Rick |

Seems like the city of London, OH didn't know anything about the change of venue to Lorain. They still want the Cobras for the Strawberry Festival and Bill Dyer and I are trying to accomodate them. This would be a different event--NOT THE FLING!! Stay tuned--news at 11! LOL Frank SPF # 725 |
