Default Era Seats!!

I know Bob Putnam is on vacation, and Peter does not use the Internet.Maybe someone else can answer this question.
I was under the impression that each seat ERA manufactured was specific to that car.

Yesterday I got these seats, will they fit my car?

Since I have been raising so much hell about my missing seats, Peter sent me a set, then I got a pair from Bob. Yesterday these seats show up.

I was thinking maybe there are others out there who may need these, or should I keep them as a back up?

I think some guy down in Southern California is looking for a pair as well.

Were these seats really for me?

Default Seats

Turk,
You would not believe my day- pure h***. Nothing went easy. Then I came home and my wife tells me my package from UPS has arrived but it was ripped and some of the contents may be missing. Sure enough I was missing 15 out of 30 clekos. Why would things go any better once I got home? Then I sat down at the computer, when I saw that picture I almost bust a gut laughing. Thanks, I'm finally smiling again. I guess you are too now that you've got your hands on those seats. As I said before your car looks fantastic, you should be very proud. But then again how could you screw up an ERA?
Drive carefully , Steve

You won't be needing seats for a while.
"How you can screw up an ERA?"
I probably can. Good people at ERA sees to it that I wouldn't and couldn't. Talk about hand holding, and making sure all goes well.

I can honestly say this with no reservations. Mechanically I am a mental midget. I ran into three difficulties during my portion of the build. All three were corected within hours. All three were as a result of not reading the manual carefully, or even worse doing exact opposite of what the manual said to do. Such as installing (-) negative to (+) positive when it clearly says not to do that.

If you are happy with them this far, you won't be dissapointed down the road.

Thanks for the seats.
