Steering & remote oil filter adaptor
Hello Bob, I wanted your awesome advise on two things-
#1- Should I put some heat barrier(like stuff you wrap around starters) around my Steering shaft universal joint which is forward of the driver foot box above the headers ?
#2- I have a remote S/C oil filter adaptor mounted on the water pump. I bought it from Enzo. I notice that oil is actually seeping out of the casting !! I double checked this and it is comming out of the casting. The adaptor is very porous and was sandblasted when I got it.Have you guys seen this ? is it normal ? After it runs for 20 min or so I can get a drip. I wanted your opinion before I call Enzo. |
