Thumbs up

Great post and beautiful car. Appreciate the feedback on your experience - I need the inspiration to keep plugging away on mine. Like you, I did a lot of body work also. The body is definately top notch and heavily constructed but if you really want everything smooth and flat and all the gaps and panels to match up near perfect - your basically going to go through a couple gallons of filler and lots of quality hours with sandpaper. When doing all the build yourself, there are a lot of moments of frustration, lessons learned and wondering if its ever going to end - but overall I think it is the greatest reward.

Thanks guys, of course one of the other fun parts was following you guys and your builds on this forum.

ERA Chas, I choose the Mastercrafts because I wanted a 295/50/15 and I did not want the BFG's because of bad experience with them through the years with my Mustangs. Mastercraft Avenger, Cooper Cobra, and Micky Thompson ST are the the same tire, just different sidewall and tread. I simply liked the tread design of the Mastercraft. They are not high performance tires with a S rating, but they are round and do not vibrate and shimmy.

TKB; I have added close to 15 gals once, put I seriously fill all the way up the filler neck and the gauge will read full.
