Default Jag Rear Gear Oil oz?

Bob.... the ERA Rear has a painted line below the fill plug indicating to fill the pumpkin to something less than what the fill plug level would be. Do you know how many oz that would be? 32 oz to a quart and and 6 oz of limited slip comes to 38oz so far. Is that in the ballpark? tx mike

Mike

They recommend climbing oil to my recollection. Have some at the house, I think.

The Jag manual states 3-1/4 pints total. I'd use that as a maximum.

I always used 4 oz. of Kendall friction modifier. Available at old time parts stores.
Valvoline 80W-90 gear oil.
Street and drag strip driving.
