Yeah - that has typically been my experience with cable/internet/phone companies - salesman making crap up out of thin air.
"If I switch to your service you can bring it in over the same cable installed by my current carrier - right? Yes sir, no need to trench in a new cable - we can use what is there."
Followed two days later by a new cable stretching across my lawn that I mow around for 3 months before they come out to trench it in and sever several sprinkler head leads.  |
