Default Fuel Vapors from fuel cell vent

Hi Bob,
I have had my ERA FIA since june. Lately I have noticed a strong fuel vapor smell coming from the car in my gagage. I know this is not good with the furnace and hot water heater in the same area. Maybe I am noticing it more because it is sitting longer in the gagage. I am certain the vapors are coming from the fuel cell vent. Is this vent supposed to be filtered or run back to the engine? Right now it just drops staight down near the rear tire. I have a pressurized gas cap and I also have fuel injection which may put even more pressure on the system.

Thanks,
David

PS: you guys build a great car. I hope to trade up to a GT-40 one of these days.

David,

We've since change the venting system...

If your cap is not vented, change to one that is. I think that Parts Master 46123 will fit. Then use a plug in the hose. I would simply insert a short bolt and secure with a clamp.
