Default Correct shifter placement - which gearboxes?

Do all the listed gearboxes on the ERA site give a correct 289FIA shifter placement?

I assume (still reading up and learning about the Cobras) the Toploader was the gearbox used in the original CSX cars and the Tremec with the umpteen shifter locations can replicate it, but what about the Richmonds?

Thanks

JJ

As best that I could fnd out, the shifter should be 16" back from the mounting ears on the transmission. A Tremec TKO is about 16.75" if you turn the shifter around. That's pretty close. Then it needs to be offset to the left of center but I haven't dug into how far on that one yet. I have no idea about the Richmond.

I have the Richmond Gear transmission in an ERA FIA car with a 351 Windsor engine. I was told by someone at ERA that the shifter is about 1.5 inches aft of an original small block car location. It feels and looks just fine. Original small block cars used Borg Warner T-10 transmissions.
