Did ERA supply your beautiful mats? They seem to fit perfectly.

Thanks,

John

Those look beautiful. How did you go about getting them cut to fit that well?

I have coco mats in my SPF, love them.
Coco mats send you a pattern that you can modify, then make the mats to match your pattern.

Yes as dblbarrel said, they sent me a pattern that I would day was 85% correct. I just made a few tweaks to get them perfect. And they are.

Coco mats are available here: https://www.cocomats.com/ These are the ones in my Healey and due to the changes in the floorpan needed to fit the V8 and transmission I needed a custom set made. They'll send you a pattern to trace the exact outlines of your floor. High quality product and a great company to do business with. Sorry for the huge picture but it will let you see what the mats look like.

For an ERA, can't you buy direct from them? They should fit exactly.

Default Grubby ERA- Floor Mat

Grubby,

I spoke with Peter, they do not deal in Coco floor mats. Order them direct, they will send a pattern as noted earlier in this thread.

The picture of the Coco mats on the ERA site is one that I had sent to Peter about 12-15 years ago of the mats in my old car. Like others had mentioned, cocomats.com will send a big piece of craft paper to make templates. I don't remember being charged any extra for mats in the custom size, but not certain about that. I will be ordering a set for my new ERA pretty soon, just need to get some carpet in it first!

I just ordered mats for my Slabside. The craft paper is on it's way. No charge.

Received two days ago from Coco the floor mat pattern, completed and returned.

Good people to deal with.

I've got CAD drawings of the 289 and late 427 mats, but the mat companies didn't want them in standard file interchange format. I don't have a wide-format plotter, so it's a pain to stitch 12 panels together.

If you have access to a large screen TV and HDMI,
try taping the paper to the TV, darken room,
trace the backlit CAD image onto paper .

In the old days you would print onto a transparency then project the image on
to a white wall .

I recently received my Coco mats I had ordered earlier this summer and am really pleased with the fit and quality. For the first time the driver side mat stays in place when activating the clutch.

Can't say enough about the mats or the service received from Coco.

I just received a set from them. They sent me a paper pattern that was already 90% correct. I fine tuned the pattern by cutting the pattern around the seat adjusters and wrapping up beside the brake/clutch pedals.
They fit absolutely perfectly. I couldn’t be happier with the quality and fit.

I think they would have fit a standard foot box, but I believe my foot boxes are slightly smaller than standard to fit the Cammer (I’m not sure about that).

Coco Mats made a set for my Hi Tech 20 years ago and they still look like new. Solid rubber backing and the binding was first class. I made my own pattern from brown paper and sent it to them.
