Default ERA on ebay

They're calling this an ERA in the listing but there's no fender-well tag or any other reference to ERA in the listing. Does anyone know anything about this car?
I'm definitely not a fan of the painted wheels I know that.

It sure looks like an older ERA to me. Interior and engine bay are right and note the wheel hub baskets with centerline wheels.

Looks pretty nice.

The fuses on the firewall look like ERA. Another tell-tale sign is the straight-on from the front photo. The turn signal/parking light on the driver's side is noticeably closer to the vent grill than the passenger side, a characteristic of ERA cars.

I would say yes looking at the firewall wiring and carb throttle linkage

Price is getting closer to what you'd expect from an ERA as well.

He'd be much better off on Bring A Trailer.

The hood scoop looks molded not riveted and they said vinyl interior. Doesn't sound right

PMartin,

My hood scoop is molded and my seats are vinyl. Leather is an optional choice.

178 had a molded scoop and it is an available option still. Vinyl is also an option.

That car looks pure ERA. Even the funky wheels are likely original to the build.

Centerline wheels with ERA’s “Lookalike wheel inserts” were very common in the 80s. Real 6pin hubs were expensive and labor intensive to have made. You also needed a set of used jag xke splined rear hubs that were cut down to make rear hubs. It was also highly suggested to epoxy the inside of the Halibrands and in some cases tubes were added because of porosity. Plus a lot longer wait time.
When I ordered my first ERA Peter told me it was easier or them to do a molded on hood scoop

Very low miles unless the speedo has been replaced.

Odd radiator that feeds from the right side up top.
