Thanks for posting Dan. I like the color - don’t see many yellow Cobras! And I don’t think I’ve ever seen a yellow ERA. |

Sold for $ 56,250 - too low in my opinion. |

It was a clean ERA with low miles. Yellow paint choice is debatable though.
The car did not meet reserve with a final bid at $56,250.

Anyone interested may want to reach out to the owner and make an offer.

 Cheers

 | IMO there's no doubt the bidding would have been much higher it were Viking or Guardsman Blue, or another more popular colour.

Agreed, I believe color had everything to do with it, I liked it, but then yellow was the color of the racing Alfa GTV I had. No one ever said they didn't see me come up behind them to pass |

The car looks well maintained. Well at least it was for the photo op.That Skittle yellow paint though .... sheesh. He murdered its curb appeal.
428 sounded really tame in the video clip but it was clean.

Would need to review the documentation however based on the BaT
presentation I would not have offered over $60K. Paint choice
 probably a $20K penalty.

If it at least had black stripes instead of white then they could have coat tailed on the Bumble Bee theme from Transformers.... |

I think if you are going to pick a non standard color, you should look around and see if you can find an original that was painted that color back in the 60s - 70s, especially if it had a race pedigree! I think a lot of us, who are not yellow fans, would look differently at a car that paid tribute to an original yellow car! Having said that, I've always loved Tera Browne's AC289, better known as the Psychedelic Cobra. Would I paint a kit Cobra that color? Heck no! But at least it would have an original car to point to! Part-3-The-Color
 Part-7-Body-Transformation-continued-paint-wet-sand-and-buff
And the color is the most difficult decision!
