Default excellent customer support

bob,

I wasn't really able to attend the CC for the last year for technical reasons, but I still consider the whole package of your web-site, assembly manual, mailresponse and CC response the best customer support I have ever seen in my life!

this applies also for customers that do not own a car from ERA, like me.

dominik, south-africa

now if I only could remember when I mentioned that I have been there, done it, but got no t-shirt...
could have been Atlanta 1995 (SAAC) ...

tell me, did you at ERA always use the TRIGO 5-pin wheels, or did you start with the 6-pin - similar to the Contemporary?

it took five "refreshments" (not beers) to actually post this reply.

cheers,

dom

Dominic,

We've used 6-pin wheels from our first prototype in '81. It wasn't until about 3 years ago that we tried the 5-pin system and frankly, the guys in the shop hate 'em. Every set has required several hours of hand fitting (although we don't have the official installation "jig"). We make our own front and rear one-piece hubs for the 6-pin, so it's much easier for us.

bob,

since lynn's new stud-bolts are available (recently) it should work. the centering ring is even too accurate, the wheels themselves more forgiving.

check:
Shop Talk > Trigo wheels binding...
