Can I use a left rotor on the right side?

I got a good price for two left drilled/slotted rotors from JEGS. They claim the only difference between the left and right is the drilled pattern. I figure a FIA wheel will cover most of the pattern up and not be noticable...

Usually, the rotors internal air fins are set up to suck air in. If you mount the left on the right side, it will not impell the air thru the hollow part of the rotor. It will FIT, but the cooling would be wrong. ALso, be aware that drilled / slotted rotors can never be turned or trued by a rotor lathe. They are throw aways in that respect. As is typical of their racing heritage and intended use.

If you'r not seriously racing it, the rotors should be fine...would only affect excessive temps under severe racing conditions. I'd use 'em on the street.
