Alum motor

ERA Pete P There is an All Aluminium SOHC motor on E-Bay, in FL. Did Dove ever make the blocks and heads in Alum? The guy also has an iron motor too. Something to look into. Rick Lake Ps Bob tell Pete about this, Thanks

Interesting but with fishy verbiage. When a fella says twice "I was told" about the motor ( and it's on a stand) but has two more SOHC engine's something's not right. This alone doesn't instill confidence in me that the seller is being as fortright about the assembly.

Heck, did he buy it no questions/inspections asked? I don't think so! Whoever seriously looks into this engine do your due diligence to cover your butt.

BTW, could it be a Genesis Alum. block?
