Default Another ERA hood gets morphed!

Just finished this for some lucky ERA customer, its been treated to our seamless aluminum plating process. This is just the icing on the cake, the hood belongs to one beautiful cobra.

Enjoy the picture

Ron

Nice work. Hope to get my "order (Jan 04)" soon and would like to have the hood done similarly (once its painted). What's it cost?

Deano I'm glad you asked about our other project the P-38. Its a customers RC plane thats has a 110 in wing span and a total of 10 hp that will propel it in a strafing run a about 120 mph. We have plated it with our micro seamless aluminum plating thats similar to the aluminum plating that we use on the hoods. Were also doing the paint work that consist of black and white invasion stripes on the underside of the wings and fusalage. The spinners, some of the cowl and rudder tips will be chrome yellow to match the 8th airforce color scheme. It has 2 full radio set ups, one for a backup, sequencing gear and doors, brakes and alot of stuff that I have no idea what it is. These guys take modeling to the extreme. You can't see it in the photo but there are about 25000 rivets and duets fasteners that the customer has add and there will be another 10000 when finished. Its one of our more interesting projects. We finished a F100 jet about 4 months ago.

Tampafla youll have to ask Peter or Renee, I dont do the pricing.

It doesnt get better than this, a P-38, ERA, and a FFR

Default MM -

The work looks GREAT!!

It could just be my graphics card, but the finish on both the hood and P38 look to be more of a matte finish as opposed to polished? Can you also do a polished aluminum look?

Please provide contact numbers for Peter or Renee?

Thanks for posting the pics!

Snak Iyz- Peter is the Peter at ERA and Renee is our sale Rep at #203 294-1314 or you can talk to me at the same #

rbray- we haven't plated an entire body yet but have plated all the windows, doors and a lot of other parts to a VERY custom garage for a comedian that loves Posrches and the garage is in Manhatten (thats all the info I can give )

Ross- We decided not to use a web site, too many questions that needed to be answered in person, but if you need more info just give us a call

Mrud- YOUR COLORS ARE PERFECT!!! I got a chance to see your entire Cobra and all I can say is WOW, ERA just does a beautiful job, everything is perfect, well worth the wait in my opinion.
I too have a color on my ERA with no metalic, but everytime I see another ERA with stripe I wonder if I should have gone that way
[IMG] [/IMG]

This is my ERA #148, it about 20 years old, Peter wasn't kidding when he said that ERA cobras are build to last
