ERA owners group

Who is going to start an ERA owners group?

John Annie 01-22-2009 07:00 AM

That would be fantastic. We did have an enterprising individual start an ERA Registry site. Here's the link in case you were unaware of it.

I too think that it would be fantastic. Great idea

ERA group

I think you put it right on this site under "community". Someone with more computer skills than I have could do it.

GNelson 01-22-2009 10:22 AM

I am proud to say I am an owner of a new ERA and think it is a great idea as well, but I too lack the computer skills to set it up.

To set up an owners group here, go to: http://clubcobra.com/forums/group.php?do=create

Let me know if you need assistance from there. You'll need to uplaod an ERA graphic and such.

Folks:

We have formed a NY not-for-profit membership association "ERA Motorsport Association" with the idea of having social, track and cruise events, etc. But Peter decided to go racing with his son instead...

ZOERA-SC7XX 01-22-2009 03:24 PM

Do we really need Peter?

Snakebit 01-22-2009 04:01 PM

An ERA Owners Association with out the Great Moustashed One, AKA the Wizzard of OZ? Who will eat all the pizza?

ZOERA-SC7XX 01-22-2009 04:11 PM

Peter's a great guy and a knowledgeable Cobra builder/supplier, but he's just not interested in playing with snakes.

Jim Holden 01-23-2009 07:13 AM

"Do we really need Peter?"

Only as "Court Jester" "Troll under the Bridge" etc. etc.

All seriousness aside, I'm more than willing to set up a little meeting at a local (pick one according to the level of your "effete-ness" self image) diner, restaurant, bistro, etc. here in the Westchester - Fairfield area ("Chucks Steak House" in Danbury comes to mind) to discuss interest in moving such a group forward.

Jim

Sounds like a great idea, count me in.

ZOERA-SC7XX 01-23-2009 02:23 PM

I'd be interested. Danbury or Fairfield sounds good. It would be great for Tri-State area ERA owners to have some kind of unity.

FrankJohnson69 01-23-2009 03:36 PM

So can the boys south of the Mason Dixon line partake?

marcalan 01-23-2009 04:09 PM

what about us guys in the keystone state?

ZOERA-SC7XX 01-23-2009 05:15 PM

I would think all ERA owners would be welcome.

JCMurf52 01-23-2009 06:48 PM

Count me in, I'd like to meet other devotees of ERA.

As a general rule that is right, but we should reserve the right to reject those certain "undesireable" ERA owners. :p They know who they are! :p:LOL:

428street 01-24-2009 11:16 AM

I'd be interested in it as well.
