Default New EM Gen IV build (new in 2006)

My dad recently bought an EM Cobra that was started in 2006. The car is 95% complete. I think it will be a great car but just needs a few things. A second roll bar and glove box come to mind first. Is EMs glove box kit the same as everyone else's, its it the same as what finishline sells? Does anyone have luck getting any reponse lately from EMs office? I will actually be in Houston in two weeks. Anyone know if its worth stopping buy?

Thanks. Mat

If your dash has been cut for a glove box you must then get a box with those dimensions. However if not , any box will work or what everyou desire. If cut has been made already without a box in hand you may buy several boxes unless you find who cut the dash and what box it was cut for . Due to contour of the outside of the box makes this a big problem if the dash has been cut .

Their web site has been down. Going on four days now. Guess someone didn't pay the bill!

I can not say for sure if another manufacture glove box will work on an E-M dash. The mounting studs for the fiberglass insert are mig welded to the dash in a specific place. I do know that the roll bar will have to come from E-M. Anything else probably would not fit correctly. As far as E-M itself, I get all my info on them from this website. I haven't talked to any of the Everetts since Bufords funeral. Good luck!
