Default Need to get Carpet for trunk for EM

I would like to know where the best place is to get the carpet kit for a EM. I know EM is probably the best place to get this but, lets just say, lets not go there.

Is there another manufacture out there that has the same trunk config?

Or, even where is the best place to get the carpet and I will just do it myself.

Thanks for any responses.

I had carpet done for the interior of my EM by taking it to a nearby auto upholstery shop. I picked the material and they gave me a price for the job in advance.

Just go to Lowe's or Home Depot and get some boat carpeting and do it yourself. Either glue it down or use double stick tape.

I would do it my self. You can buy quality carpet or cheep carpet at just about automotive upholstry shop or even a carpet store. Use an exacto knife to cut it. I would use velcro to hold it down. You can buy it with adhesive already on it and that way you can remove it when ever you need to. It's too bad E-M doesn't seem to want to help people with older kit cars. When they were here in Florida you could get them to make you just about anything. Good luck, Phil. DP
