They are not worth any more than modern day copies.

You'll sell 2 or 3.

You might want to think twice about turning on manufacturing with these. You're going to have a whole lot of inventory.

Question: Are we talking "Quick Jacks" or the SS, Chrome, street Bumperettes? The ones I have on my Classic Roadster are cast formed which look to be SS, theses are works of art. They weigh I would say 5-6 lbs. a piece, never seen another set like these, If I can download a picture I will. TommyRot.

Yes it seems like a tough skeptical impatient crowd. But if you have something you are trying to sell, I would think that providing some pictures may at least get you past the impatient crowd part. If you are not sure how to post pictures here, why not post them in your new facebook group, then at least some of us have have facebook accounts can see what you are talking about.

Hey guys, Thanks for understanding, having a rough new coming to the forum lol I guess it’s an initiation! Lol I will get some pics in the morning, they weigh about 5-6 lbs and are full stainless steel, they are the Bumper type(not quickjack) we make both kinds. One we will serialize with numbers which are the OG Ford part... the other kind are the same part with a stainless beauty cover welded on the back so you don’t see the bolt holes... pics in the AM!!

Making 900 of these on spec is a pretty bold move. This is probably the biggest Cobra street front in the world, and so far your market penetration is precisely zero.

Please show a picture of the original ford stamping along side the EM stamping. A quick validation of the age of these will be if they are different. The EM should show unaged shiny penetration to the surface. I don't see that.

Pictures showed up here late.

They are pretty and shiny.

What are they worth? Are these worth any more than any of the other replica parts out there? Probably not. In fact, probably less since there is enough inventory to cover the total production of all the Cobra Replica vendors for a decade...

Good luck though.

Remind me not to use the guy that made this business decision in any of my financial planning.

We are trying to keep the Legacy alive not make top dollar on small parts... we are trying to keep people around the cars and keep the cars alive... so yes supplying the entire replica community would be great

The polished overriders do look nice and I hope they sell. I'm still dubious about them having any special value as it's doubtful (though not impossible) that the original Cobra parts were ever made by Ford. If they were, then extra effort would need to be made to exactly replicate the welded parts on the back side and maybe then they could have some value as replacement/restoration parts on CSX cars.
Ford never built the Cobras at any time in their history. Between 1986 and 1996(?) Ford and AutoKraft jointly owned AC Cars and produced the AC Mk IV but even then, the manufacturing was still done by AC. Having bumper parts reproduced using purchased Ford dies may however appeal to die-hard Ford fans, but it must be recognized that the original Cobras used parts sourced from all manner of companies, including (on the leaf spring cars) MGB steering racks and a Volkswagen Beetle steering column

Sorry if I seem like I'm giving you a hard time. The Cobra replica community is a bit on guard after being burned multiple times by shady operators. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the distinctive EM body shape, but I do like the chassis and the multiple suspension options that the company offered. EM was on my shortlist along with Unique Motorcars way, way back when I first started shopping for a Cobra of my own.

I sincerely wish you and the company luck in reviving and sustaining the brand.

98% of the Cobra world loses money on the hobby; 2% makes money. You're better off selling life insurance.
