Replacement hood
I bought a EM replica built in RENOE back in 1984. I have had this car since 99. It was built to compete in Virginia City Hill Climb, The original builder went with inline dual fours and a Dove Tunnel Wedge intake manifold. It has the carburetors just under the hood. I'm sure it ran with out air cleaners when competing. It came with two trimmed down Stelling and Helling air cleaners. I always thought they were the major limiters. Last Year I ran the car without any air cleaner and it was way better. I have had issues with the little air cleaners fouling plugs and such. I have come to a conclusion that another air cleaner an thus another hood. I do not want to destroy the older hood.
Is EM still in business or what?
