Default Team III wheels & tires sizes??

Will this fit a FFR with 8.8 stock rear end and tube front LCA set up?

Team III Halibrand replicas
17X9.5 & 255/40 17
17X11 & 315/35 17

Just wanted to know if anyone is running these sizes and what offset will make it work? Thanks for the help.

I would like to give you another option. If you havent considered PS Engineering, give them a call. Phil is a very knowledgable guy who builds an excellent quality wheel in virtually any configuration you need.

Will do, but what do you think about the size combo?

I am not overly familiar with the FFR but the combination I am installing on my Butler is the same wheel sizes with 315/35-17 rears and 275/40-17 fronts. Phil can suit any back space you need for clearance.

CR uses MII front suspension, and late 8.8 rear. I mention this because FFR uses late Mustang front suspension and the wheel offset may be different. Check with the FFR guys for preferred offset.

Using Team III 17" x 8" front (4" backspace), and 17" x 9 1/2" rear (5" backspace). Tires are 235/45ZR17 front, and 275/40ZR17 rear. At $300/wheel, I have no complaints. Tires are Falken 451's.

No problem with the Team III wheels, initially, and now with 12,000+ miles except how long I had to wait for them. They were just tooling up for their 17's when I ordered them.

Same goes for the Falken tires. Traction + on dry roads, and superb traction on wet roads. Got 'em from vulcantire.com for just under $500 for the set of 4 including shipping. Tirerack.com had Bridgestone RE730's, same size for about $170 more, and would have been my second choice. Would strongly encourage you to read the consumer remarks section at tirerack.com to aid in your tire selection process, and cut through the factory advertizing hype as to what works, and what doesn't. (Was going to spring for a set of BFG Comp T/A's, and did I get my eyes opened!)

Good luck.
