Bear with me; I'll get to the point.
As a hunter, I learned a lot about anatomy. I realize it doesn't qualify me to be a surgeon. However when something meets a violent end, you do not have to be a coroner to figure out the cause, either.
Engines are the same. It doesn't take huge skills to pull it apart. If it died violently, it will be obvious. It takes a surgeon (builder) to put them back together, with the expectation it will be improved and live long.
So yes, tear it down and entertain us.
