No problem.
If you want to cancel/return the flywheel, I can save you about $125 on a flywheel.... |

No, my point was that there are other alternatives next to the McLeod piece, which is apparently made of gold. I only use them in extreme cases where a 11.5/12" pressure plate has to be used.
I used to be a McLeod fan, but I've had several returns this year on their pressure plates. Also, for the price, you can buy a nice RAM clutch kit and have a good bit of money left over. I've been selling RAM for a couple of years now with no returns, except for one, where the wrong kit was sent out mistakenly. |
Well you know what they about size, "it's not the size...". :)
I had an 11" clutch plate, blew that right out! But that was a typical organic lineing on both sides, similiar to a stock plate. I went to organic on one side, pucks on the other and got a LOT more miles on that clutch, still 11". But even that one didn't hold up well. So, now I'm running pucks on both sides, a much more agressive clutch plate/cover combination. I think this one will work out nicely! If it don't, and I'm hell on clutches, I'll be going dual disc for the next one. |
Clutches are a balancing act. The dual disc will grab harder and not slip. But it will also hit the driveline harder because it ill not slip...
BTW there is a bit more to clutch diameter than just the O.D. dimension alone.... |
