Same here - I have a couple and usually grab one for tightening up valve cover and pan bolts and the such. I grab it around the center with my palm to further limit the amount of torque I can effectively apply through it. I can twist on it firmly and probably never apply more than 10 - 12 lb ft torque. Very easy to modulate force.
