Default FE on Bring A Trailer

I'd be thorough in checking on the repairs on this motor, otherwise might be a good display engine or a large paperweight.

With no reserve, either the buyer or seller will be quite upset if the price gains much more than the grand it's at now. The seller is going to be upset if it doesn't.

Sure looks like one to me.... The oil galley bulge on the driver's side of the block is right where it's supposed to be, as is the small pipe-plug at the 5:00 position on the timing cover.

It's a service block (as the seller acknowledges) so it never went into a car off the assembly line, but it is still a side-oiler (paperweight, or otherwise).

But still- The heads sound like they are good, the lower rotating assembly sounds re-useable, and it comes with all the correct FE top-end goodies (including a brass overflow tank) that can be pretty tough to scrounge up piece by piece.

I think it's worth a fair bit more than a grand, but that's just my opinion
