Guess I'll buck the tide here. I've got a Mallory Dual-Point converted to magnetic breakerless with the MSD 6 AL box. No probs so far. Except for the MSD box which crapped out last year. By the serial #s on it, the MSD rep said it was made in '92, so's 9+ years of service (living on the passengers footbox in the engine compartment, with all the heat that the motor gives off) ain't too bad.
