The best motor you can get for $15,000. Easy. But it isn't a Ford. It is however vintage, sort of... Chevy has re released a limited quantity of it's all aluminum 427 "mystery motor" from 1968 (69 model year) The RPO ZL1.
The latest version is punched out to 454 ci via a 4.300 bore. Dyno numbers are a little scetchy but the 10.2:1 mill should produce 550 plus hp and easily run on regular pump gas.
