Not Ranked
My camshaft is 248@.050 and .605 lift. It is borderline.
As Ted stated the ammount of overlap at .050 is the key. My camshaft is on a 110 center and has 28deg. of overlap @.050 with the valves lashed at .022. I have opened the lash up to .028 to help a little. More compression will also assist in "consuming" some duration but not alot. I am going to make it through the summer and have a new cam custom ground in the fall.
