Did you use the valley pan under the intake?

Yes, I used the valley pan. Fit like a glove! It is defintely taking shape. Thanks for the compliments. Todd

Just curious. I saw on this thread that you have a FT block. I would guess a 391 truck block. A good strong block. But, with a 4.130 bore now, your block was originally 4.050 bore. I'm not sure, but I think you're OK, as these blocks can take a .080" overbore. I'm curious, did you sonic check the cylinders for thickness ? Can most / all 391 blocks be taken out to 4.13" without sonic checking?

I am unable to explain that distributor bushing ordeal. The block has not been bored. It has 428 cast into the water jacket floor. Also has all the correct markings for the original PI or CJ type block. Maybe either a factory mistake or someone drilled the hole out to fit a truck distributor.

Pictus, I used an original Police Interceptor intake p/n C7AE-9425-F. They say it performs close to the Performer RPM. I mainly went with it for the original appearance.
