Question Appraisals

We've got an LA EXOTICS factory-built 427 Cobra that we'd like to get appraised. We live in San Diego County CA and have not been able to find anyone who is qualifed to do the job. We sure would appreciate any suggestions.

Bunjes,

I don't know about down there but up here some of the car insurance companies have appraisers that do a pretty good job. Also if there is any classic car dealer around near you, they normally have an appraiser or can send you to one that can do the job.

I used Western Appraiser up here in San Jose. I am not sure if they have any offices down south. They did a good job.

What's the appraisal for? If it's just to establish a relative value for insurance you might be able to get away with using comparison info for cars that are on the market. Check cobracountry.com and here for similar make and setup and see if that will suffice.
